Green Belt Training
The Green Belt training is fully designed to provide you with all the knowledge and skills needed to immediately start working on improvement projects within your organization. The training combines theory and practice. Each training day includes hands-on Lean experiences through games and simulations using real-world examples. An online learning environment is available, allowing you to practice immediately and in between sessions via an app on your smartphone or tablet. In 7 days, you become an internationally certified Green Belt in Lean (IIBLC®). During the training, you achieve concrete results for your organization. After completing the course, you can start immediately as a Green Belt in Lean.

Who is it for?
The ideal training for you: this course is suitable for anyone who enjoys improving their organization. It doesn’t matter whether you are at the lowest or highest level of the organization, or whether you operate in a production environment or in services. “Wanting = being able,” and Masters In Lean will support the participant in achieving this.
The entire course is delivered in Dutch (including the slides). A higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level is recommended as prior knowledge.

After this training, you will be able to:
Understand and apply the basics of the Lean method
Identify hidden wastes in your own work environment and that of your customer
Gain insight into your personal effectiveness
Apply techniques to influence and persuade others
Act as a Lean expert to guide and improve your organization using Lean
Trainings take place in a safe learning environment, guided by energetic trainers with extensive passion and experience in the field! The training can also be delivered in-company, directly linking the theory to your own practice and/or projects.
The program
The customer is central. The session focuses extensively on Lean wastes and principles such as Flow and Pull.
Value Stream Analysis is a very powerful Lean tool that helps you view your organization from a different perspective.
You will increasingly learn to think in processes. Who is my customer? What is their demand? How can I create a faster and more stable process while increasing customer satisfaction?
Lean as an improvement philosophy: strategy deployment, a self-learning organization, continuous improvement, and problem-solving capability.
From Lean project to Lean organization: change management and sustainability ensure that your improvements “stick.”
Practice, practice, practice.
The final challenge, with your international IIBLC Green Belt certification as the prize.
Coaching with Impact
To get the most out of the training, we strongly recommend taking advantage of coaching from one of our (Master) Black Belts. This allows you to apply the training more effectively, enhancing your learning experience. We are convinced that Lean theory truly sticks only when it is applied in practice, which is why we offer the option of coaching. From our experience, we recommend a minimum of 1.5–2 days of coaching per project. The cost is €1,200 per day (excl. VAT).
How does this coaching work?
At Masters in Lean, we work with a credit-card system. You can purchase a credit card* that includes 4 coaching hours, meaning 4 credits for €600 (€150 per hour). You indicate how many credits you want to use, which determines your budget. Of course, the number of hours you need also depends on your development goals, which we can best estimate together.
You can use a personal coaching session on-site, with a minimum of 4 hours (4 credits). Alternatively, coaching can be provided via phone or Skype, with no minimum requirement, and is charged at one credit per hour.
Location
The trainings take place in Utrecht and Arnhem, and the exam is held in Nieuwegein.
