Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Together, we are responsible for the world of tomorrow. We believe in sustainable business practices. This means looking beyond our own interests and considering the broader interests of society as a whole.
We put this commitment into practice in various ways. For example, when selecting our business partners, we take their active contribution to social responsibility and community engagement into account.
CO₂ Reduction
Transportation to client locations is our biggest challenge when it comes to CO₂ emissions. For the past five years, we have compensated for our carbon footprint through our partnership with Trees for All.
In addition, we use hybrid vehicles to help reduce our CO₂ emissions. Within the next two years, these hybrid vehicles will be replaced by fully electric vehicles, bringing us even closer to becoming nearly carbon neutral.
Furthermore, our office operates entirely on 100% renewable electricity, and electric vehicle charging stations are available on-site to support sustainable mobility.
Education & social impact
Masters In Lean regularly supports students with internships and graduation projects, including students from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and KU Leuven in Belgium. As part of these collaborations, we provide additional guidance and support on Lean-related challenges and research projects, helping students develop practical skills and valuable professional experience.
We also support Edukans. Everyone who has completed a Masters In Lean training course, workshop, or educational program can share their experience on Springest, the Netherlands’ largest online training marketplace. Participant reviews play an important role in helping others make informed decisions when selecting training and development opportunities.
When you share your experience with a Masters In Lean course, training program, or workshop on Springest, both Springest and Masters In Lean donate €1 to Edukans as a token of appreciation. Edukans is dedicated to improving access to education in developing countries.
Through these initiatives, we actively contribute to the advancement of education both in the Netherlands and internationally.
Reintegration
We support employees and job seekers in their reintegration into the labor market by providing opportunities to gain valuable practical work experience within our organization.
In addition, we actively apply Social Return on Investment (SROI) as a means of creating employment opportunities for people with a distance to the labor market or a work-related disability. Masters In Lean has extensive experience in supporting and coaching individuals through SROI programs across a variety of client organizations.
As part of these initiatives, participants are actively involved in continuous improvement activities within the client organization and receive Lean training throughout the improvement journey. This enables them to develop valuable skills, gain hands-on experience, and strengthen their long-term employability while contributing to meaningful organizational improvements.
Culture
We sponsor a DIDK foundation with regard to a music event for the promotion of art and culture in the region. These events are organized by young people and are accessible to young and old.
