Meet Master Judith

Judith lives with her partner Michael and their daughter Renée in the picturesque village of Wesepe. The family is completed by their sweet Sandy, a playful six-year-old boxer. Judith grew up on a beautiful farm in Lettele, where her father ran a dairy farm. This rural upbringing has strengthened her love for nature and her appreciation of the small things in life. Whether it is a barbecue with friends, a concert visit, or a nice walk with Sandy: Judith enjoys it all. Besides making the most of her free time, she also has a strong passion for her work, which she enjoys very much as a Master at Masters In Lean.

After secondary school, Judith chose the HBO Facility Management programme at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Deventer. After completing her studies, she started her career in the events industry in Apeldoorn. There she was the main point of contact for clients, where she discovered that organising and planning are her real passions!

During her time as an event manager, Judith was able to organise many amazing events. But this event stood out for her: “One of the coolest projects during my time in the events industry was organising the farewell of the royal aircraft and the welcoming of the new government plane at Woensdrecht Air Base. I even got the chance to see both aircraft from the inside, an experience I will not easily forget.”

After eleven years in the events industry, she decided to take a different direction and moved into the construction sector. Through a friend, she ended up at Mateboer Bouw, where she worked as a resident coordinator for rental housing. In this role, she was responsible for communication with all residents and coordinating the work.

After that, Judith made another leap into something new: she now works with great pleasure at Masters In Lean as a commercial training advisor. She came into contact with Hans via LinkedIn, who pointed her to the job opening. After a good conversation with Harm and Sjoerd, she was immediately enthusiastic. And so she started as a commercial training advisor, where Judith is responsible for coordinating training courses.

What does a typical workday look like for Judith? “I maintain client contacts, schedule training sessions, and ensure that everything in the online learning environment runs smoothly. In addition, I aim to continuously improve the training programmes so that they perfectly match the needs of the client.”

This is not only important for customer satisfaction, but also for strengthening the relationship between Masters In Lean and the participants!

Judith has also started the Green Belt training herself. She is very curious about what professionals learn during the training sessions, and this allows her to directly apply that knowledge in her own work. In addition, it gives her the opportunity to observe where she and her fellow participants run into challenges, providing insights into possible improvements for the training. For her, this is a real win-win!

Judith now feels completely at home at Masters In Lean. “I notice that there is a great passion among all my colleagues for their work, and that enthusiasm is truly contagious. Communication is very smooth, the atmosphere is approachable, and everyone is easy to reach.”

How does Judith see her future at Masters In Lean? She says enthusiastically: “I would like to further increase the value of the training offering by clearly identifying customer needs and responding to them.” In addition, she will further develop herself in sales. Although her Lean journey has only just begun, she is extremely enthusiastic. Her broad experience, from facility services to construction projects, has prepared her well to strengthen the Masters In Lean team.
