Meet Master Emma

We would like to introduce you to Emma, the marketing talent of Masters In Lean. Who is Emma exactly? What excites her, and what drives her? In this story, you will get to know her better!

A passion for travel and curiosity

Emma loves travelling and discovering new places. Before her studies, she lived in Paris for six months, where she studied at the Institut Catholique de Paris. All her courses were in French, which fully immersed her in the language and culture. She truly got to know the city and came into contact with different cultures, something she found incredibly exciting and which broadened her worldview.

After completing her master’s degree, she moved abroad again, this time to Rome, where she followed an intensive three-month Italian language course. Of course, she combined this with exploring Italy: from the lively streets of Naples to the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. For Emma, travelling is not only about relaxation, but also about learning, discovering, and gaining inspiration.

Always on the move

Emma doesn’t like to sit still. She used to be an enthusiastic competitive swimmer, and her love for water has never gone away. Even now, she can often be found in the pool, combining swimming with workouts at the gym. Exercise helps her clear her mind, stay full of energy, and maintain balance in her busy life, something she values greatly.

Social connection and relaxation

In addition to being active, Emma values spending time with the people around her. She enjoys an afternoon of shopping with friends, discovering new restaurants, or simply having a good conversation over coffee or drinks. For her, this is a way to recharge, create memories, and have fun with the people she cares about. This balance between activity and relaxation ensures she brings energy to both her personal life and work.

Passion for Lean and marketing

At Masters In Lean, Emma is responsible for marketing with great enthusiasm. During her internship at the Alliance Française Amsterdam, she discovered her passion for marketing: creative projects, inspiring people, and telling stories that stick with them give her energy. At the same time, she has always been drawn to the Lean philosophy; working efficiently and continuously improving fits her way of thinking and working. This combination of marketing and Lean makes her role at Masters In Lean especially interesting. She will soon start her Green Belt training, a great next step to further deepen her enthusiasm for Lean and apply it directly in her work.

With her enthusiasm, energy, and eye for improvement, Emma is a valuable addition to the team, both in the office and beyond.
